Back-From-The-Brink

HEAD DOODLING BACK

Wound up to the rim
on a red tape dull day,
feeling as if I am
in my own way.

I drive to a place,
I call
Back-From-The-Brink.

Where I go, just to think.

Cruising to Doo-Wop,
lip-syncing in sync,
windows-down, wind-in-hair -

feeling lighter than air . . .

It's really just all about, how you get there.

  2. I like the idea of a place where you can go and think. We all need that kind of place sometime. Back-from-the-Brink expresses it SO well.

    1. Sometimes we have to just stop - and decompress. We're better for it in the long run.

  6. I read this as a good advice.. to find those places where simply breathing will give you strength to go back and face the wind-mills yet again.
