I have had with myself

about courage ...

they too have passed

  1. Hope you are okay, my friend.........stay away from crowded places, not easy in the city. Stay well.

    1. So far so go. Some family members are a bit of a worry … age and vulnerable medical condition … colleague being tested because of flu-like symptoms. I am half-way through cataract surgery … lots of appointments plus one more trip to hospital (the last place you wanna be) for the other eye … unless, of course, they cancel (which would be a drag, as reading vision is quite blurry, at this point … hence the big type ~ smiles ~). Good wishes to you, Sherry, and to all.

    2. Oops. That should read 'so far so good' … as I mention, above, my vision is not very good, at the moment.

  2. In my experience, just when courage fails, it returns stronger than before. Take care.

  3. Apart from your medical appointments be wise and isolate yourself as much as possible. Sadly in Australia many people are emptying the shelves of shops thinking that supplies will run out, which suppliers denyis the case.

  5. Powerful! I believe I have forgotten many of the same conversations in my own life. May you and I both somehow recall what we have told ourselves about courage, especially in this time of pandemic, and may we be strong in love in the face of so much uncertainty.

  8. This one made me sigh, Wendy. Mostly because I have been there. And I've come to believe that our spines can be quite forgetful, when it comes to courage, it seems we must reassure our Selves over and over and over...

  10. Had you thought that you wrote that on Friday the 13th?! Both my children are in health care professions (a respiratory therapist and a pharmacist) and they tell me the hospitals are taking every precaution. No doubt your surgery will go well and you'll be enjoying great vision in no time!

  12. Oh, I feel that way at times. I'm needing to pull from every overcoming moment I've ever had to weather the days we are now thrust into.

  13. And yet, the courage remains, in the form of endurance.

  14. "This too will pass"
    Important 4 words.
But, glad that we have been strong. Courage is in our DNA!
Take care! Have a great week!
