Heart and Soul

HEAD DOODLING BACK

Midst frazzle, fuss and rigmarole
zapped, tired and quagmired,
those tough years would have took a toll

– but for the day’s end evening stroll –

hands joined together:  heart and soul.

note:  “Heart and Soul” is a popular tune from 1938, with music by Hoagy Carmichael – a section of which is a simplified repeating piece, taught to beginning piano students as a two-hand duet.

  2. There is something SO very relaxing about those strolls, isn't there? Especially when one's heart is involved.

  3. Strolling - one of my favorite things to do . . . and yes, especially with a loved one.
