close to free

HEAD DOODLING BACK

walking
is as close to free
as this old soul
will ever be.
flutters in
the sky above
flits and finds
and things to love.

the lightness of heart
in what I see.
a crooked path;
a lop-sided tree.
the peace to feel.
the joy to be
just, walking around
and feeling free.

    it is nice to take joy in the simple things...the things we often take for granted....the ability to walk...all the little things we see...its all about noticing...smiles.
